This '66 Fender Jazzmaster comes fully dialed, with a well-executed refret for a seamless playing feel. The complete tortoise guard assembly came from a '63 example, complete with original pots and incredible-sounding black-bobbin pickups. The neck ("13FEB66B") is beautifully worn in, with a slimmer rounded contour that sits effortlessly in the hand. This has clearly been a well-loved and cared-for guitar, super lively and bouncy to play, and still in great shape for its age, with expected dings, finish checking, and general wear throughout. All in all, this is a very cool vintage Jazzmaster with a unique, era-straddling vibe! Includes a non-original pre-CBS case.
