​This drum is in Excellent condition. It has lived in a smoke-free, climate-controlled studio and has been meticulously cared for. The lacquer is vibrant and deep with almost no signs of wear, chrome hardware shines brightly with negligible micro-swirls, the bearing edges are pristine, and the shell is in round.

​Pearl engineered each drum in the Reference line with a specific wood blend, ply thickness, and bearing edge tailored specifically to its sonic register:

​Shell Composition: 8-ply, 10mm blended shell featuring African Mahogany (inner plies) for massive low-end warmth and punch, paired with Maple (outer plies) for resonance and projection.

​Bearing Edge: Fully rounded bearing edge designed to maximize shell-to-head contact, emphasizing low fundamental pitch and controlled sustain.

​Hoops: Pearl MasterCast die-cast hoops (top and bottom) for pinpoint tuning stability, attack, and rimshot clarity.

​Lugs: Low-mass bridge lugs featuring brass swivels to isolate shell vibration.

​Leg Brackets & Legs: Reference air-suspension floor tom brackets (LB-200) paired with Pearl air-suspension feet (LG-200) to isolate floor vibration and maximize natural low-end resonance. Legs included.
