All passive analog, no power needed. Uses include on mix bus, drum bus, stems, tracks, inserts, after preamps and any other line level studio gear such as compressors, effects, synths, samplers, drum machines, etc. Used by several top grammy winning producers and studios from NY to LA and beyond in all genres from rock, pop, hiphop, metal, jazz, electronic, indie, blues, folk, etc. Each channel is independent to use as stereo pairs or in mono or mix of both. The 4 channels are completely independent, can be used any way you want...as 2 stereo pairs, or as 4 mono channels, or one stereo pair and 2 monos. For example on drums you could use a stereo pair on overheads and 2 monos on kick and snare and have a massive big solid sound instantly naturally and easier than attemptingo for same with a bunch of eq and compression. Track kick thru one side, snare thru the other, bass thru one, guitar thru other, etc. Instant fat tight punchy smooth rich tone the easy natural way as the past masters did thru neve consoles.
