The patching utility here goes far beyond a typical envelope generator thanks to full voltage control over each stage alongside a global Common CV input that scales all time parameters uniformly. On-board End of Attack and End of Release pulse outputs provide handy timing markers to trigger secondary voices or patch self-cycling LFO loops with ease. Between the simultaneous normal, inverted, and VCA-governed variable outputs, it acts as a central dynamic engine across an entire patch.

Module A-141-2 is a voltage-controlled ADSR envelope generator and VC-LFO that succeeds the classic A-141 with significantly expanded functionality. It features manual controls and dedicated CV inputs with attenuators for each parameter (Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release), plus a Common CV input that modulates all time parameters simultaneously. A three-position switch scales the time range across x1, x10, and x100 settings, spanning from fast microsecond transients up to several minutes. Alongside standard Fixed and Inverted envelope outputs, the module provides a Variable Output controlled via an internal VCA with external Level CV input, as well as digital gate outputs for End of Attack (EOA) and End of Release (EOR) for triggering external events or self-cycling LFO modes.
