Olds Ambassador Cornet. Serial # 248542 dates production to 1958. In very good shape with no major dents, dings or damage. This cornet plays very well and would be an excellent candidate for stripping to raw brass. All slides are true and pull smoothly. Valves are smooth with normal playing wear. The lacquer finish shows signs of normal wear for this vintage of Olds cornets. Comes complete with the original case in good shape, the original Olds #3 cornet mouthpiece, and the music lyre. Normal wear for a vintage horn of its age (see photos).
