The Roland Boutique JP-08 (JUPITER-08) brings the sound and workflow of the legendary JUPITER-8 into a compact desktop module, released to mark the original synth's 45th anniversary. Roland's Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) modeling recreates the character of the original circuits, while updated voice allocation and pitch behavior give pads, leads and basses the lively, slightly unpredictable movement that made the JUPITER-8 a studio classic.

Like the original, the JP-08 offers a full eight-voice, two-part architecture, so you can layer, split or run two independent parts for performance and composition. A front panel packed with dedicated knobs and switches keeps every parameter within reach, and 240 factory presets plus eight quick-recall favorite slots get you playing right away.

For modern production, the JP-08 adds an MFX engine with 17 effect types alongside dedicated delay and hall/shimmer reverb, a dual 64-step sequencer with motion recording, and an arpeggiator. A 3.5 mm clock input syncs it with analog gear, and the USB-C port works as an audio/MIDI interface and power source, with standard 5-pin MIDI in and out also on board. It runs on four AA batteries or USB bus power and comes with the K-25m keyboard dock, so it is ready to play anywhere.
