ESP LTD SC-607B Stephen Carpenter Deftones Signature Baritone Guitar — Magenta Metallic, B-Stock

The SC-607B is a neck-thru baritone engineered for aggressive, downtuned playing with a thin U-shaped neck that balances fast fretwork with extended sustain. This signature model channels Stephen Carpenter's approach to heavy riffing, delivering articulate pickup response and tonal versatility across both studio sessions and live performance. The striking magenta metallic finish marks this as a serious extended-range instrument built for players committed to lower tunings and dynamic tone shaping.

Playability & Build

Neck-thru mahogany construction with a three-piece maple neck and thin U contour provides direct energy transfer and resonant sustain while accommodating both fast lead work and heavy riffing. The 27" baritone scale and macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets reduce string tension for lower tunings, while LTD locking tuners and a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body tailpiece ensure stable intonation across aggressive playing and extended bending.

Tone & Electronics

Fishman Fluence SRC Signature active pickups with three voiced modes deliver multiple tonal options—clean articulation, mid-forward aggression, and high-gain saturation—without switching guitars. This active electronics system expands your palette for both rhythm work and dynamic lead passages across a range of playing contexts.
