Decware HR-1 Omnidirectional Floorstanding Speakers w/ factory upgrade

For sale is one pair of Decware HR-1 (Zen Omni) speakers in excellent operating condition, and extremely good, A- cosmetic condition.

Purchased new in 2018, these hard-to-find speakers went back to Decware in 2019 so the 'Decfest 2018' upgrade could be installed -- which includes a new driver and crossover.

The Decware HR-1 is a unique radial hybrid omnidirectional floorstanding speaker designed by Turning Point Audio and distributed by Decware. Known for its holographic soundstage and highly controlled low-end performance, it blends traditional forward-firing drivers with an upward-firing radial driver to create an expansive, 3D listening experience.

The Decware HR-1 has an efficiency rating of 92.5 dB (tube-friendly) and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.

Sound Profile & Performance

Holographic 3D Imaging: Listeners frequently describe the soundstage as mimicking a live jazz club or acoustic venue. Instruments occupy distinct physical spaces rather than sounding like they are emanating from two fixed boxes

Tight, Explosive Bass: The bass response is notably tight, accurate, and extended down low with effortless authority. Because of how the cabinet and passive radiator are tuned, the speakers can produce explosive low-end impact at high volumes while the physical drivers barely appear to move.

Low-Volume Consistency: Unlike many floor-standers that require high volume to "wake up," the HR-1 maintains flat, extended deep bass even during quiet listening sessions.

Driver Architecture & Design

The HR-1 features a distinct driver layout engineered to combine the pinpoint imaging of traditional monitors with the ambient depth of omnidirectional speakers:

Forward-Firing Drivers: A traditional mid-bass driver and tweeter face forward to anchor the center image and provide tight, focused detail.

Upward-Firing Radial Driver: A top-mounted driver is heavily modified and rebuilt into a radial configuration to disperse sound omnidirectionally, adding three-dimensional air and scale.

Passive Radiator Tuning: The bottom end is augmented by a passive radiator, allowing the cabinet to deliver deep bass without requiring massive driver excursion.
