For your viewing pleasure is this Gretsch Brooklyn GB4160 5x14 Chrome Over Brass snare drum. Part of Gretsch's Brooklyn series, which is aimed at players stepping up to pro-grade drums with that great Gretsch sound, it features a knurled 1.2mm chrome-plated brass shell with 45 degree bearing edges, chrome-plated 302 steel hoops, and a Lightning throw-off. Gretsch positions the GB4160 as having more sustain and energy than its USA Custom counterpart, with a bit more mid to high frequency presence. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. Most importantly, it tunes up like a champ and sounds absolutely fantastic. Enjoy!
