Sabian 22" Medium Ride AAX

The Sabian 22" Medium Ride AAX delivers responsive stick articulation and surprising crash-ability in a ride that bridges definition and versatility. Its smaller, raw bell cuts through the mix with precision while maintaining the dynamic range expected from a modern ride cymbal. Built for drummers who demand control without sacrificing tonal complexity, this cymbal excels in both tight ensemble settings and open, expressive playing.

Tone & Response

B20 bronze construction paired with a slightly thinner-than-standard weight produces a bright, modern voice with added darkness and complexity from the larger-rounder hammer peen. The smaller, raw bell provides excellent stick definition and control, making this ride equally effective for cutting articulate lines or opening up for crash applications.

Design & Build

The AAX series signature construction emphasizes playability through its refined profile and refined hammer work. Available in highly polished finish for glassy shimmer or traditional finish for warmer tonality, this cymbal adapts to both bright and darker drumkit aesthetics.
