Up for sale, a 1950s Martin Style 2 in excellent, 100% original condition, complete with a chipboard case. The Style 2 soprano ukulele was Martin’s mid-tier offering at the time of production, with slightly more ornate marquetry than the spartan Style 0 and 1 including multi-ply binding on top and single-ply binding on the back.

The body and neck are crafted from mahogany, with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and an ebony nut and bridge saddle. This Style 2 is resonant, warm and clear, with a detail and roundness to single note lines that is classic Martin. This Style 2 has been professionally set up here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with fresh strings and easy-playing action.
