AEA R44CXE Ribbon Microphone
AEA R44CXE Ribbon Microphone
Our users rate Reverb
For sale here is a very nice AEA R44CXE, based on the legendary RCA 44BX ribbon microphone. This R44CXE is in excellent cosmetic and working condition; it has been well cared for, it looks great, and it sounds amazing, exactly as it should. The original case is included.
The CXE is the high-output variant of the R44 family, with the cost-effective finish. It is 6 dB louder than the standard R44, and when used with a CloudLifer or similar active preamp booster, it sounds quite similar to the flagship A440.
This R44Cxe is sold in good faith, as pictured and described here, but otherwise as-is. Ships from Norway. Please ask questions if you have any, and thanks for looking.
