Sabian 19" HHX Evolution Crash Brilliant Finish

This 19" HHX Evolution Crash responds to the slightest touch with a buttery soft feel that makes it remarkably easy to play at any dynamic level. Developed in collaboration with legendary drummer Dave Weckl, it delivers a warm, explosive character with fast, shimmering response and exceptional projection. The brilliant finish coating enhances clarity while maintaining a high-fidelity sound that balances bite and warmth across its frequency spectrum.

Tone & Response

The cymbal combines the bite and penetration of high-end attack with a darker undertone, creating notable separation between bright highs and warm lows. Its extreme sensitivity allows the full sound to project even at very low volumes, making it articulate for both explosive accents and nuanced dynamic control.

Build & Construction

Hand-hammered from B20 alloy (80% copper, 20% tin with traces of silver), this cymbal represents Sabian's most durable and musical bronze formulation. The thin crash weight classification delivers responsive articulation while maintaining structural integrity across extended playing sessions.
