SABIAN 15" HHX Evolution Hat Bottom Brilliant Finish

The 15" HHX Evolution Hat Bottom delivers a responsive, articulate feel underfoot with its heavy construction and precisely machined profile. This bottom cymbal brings a glassy, shimmering character to the hi-hat pair, projecting crisp clarity even through dense sticking patterns. Paired with a medium top, this heavy bottom creates a washy yet articulate hi-hat voice that cuts through without sacrificing definition.

Tone & Character

The brilliant finish imparts a smoother, glassier attack with extended sustain compared to traditional finishes, enhancing the cymbal's naturally shimmering response. The larger 15" format produces a slightly lower pitch than the original 14" Evolution hats while maintaining the tight, controlled foot response that has made this line a perennial choice for working drummers.

Construction & Materials

Crafted from B20 bronze alloy, the standard for professional cymbals, this bottom cymbal features a heavy weight and precisely machined profile designed for maximum articulation and projection. The combination of weight, material composition, and machining makes this cymbal equally effective for crisp jazz comping or driving contemporary grooves.
