Vintage 1978 MXR MX-102 Block Logo Dyna Comp
Up for sale is a genuine, vintage 1978 MXR Block Logo Dyna Comp. This one is well-loved and beautifully road-worn, oozing authentic vintage character from decades of honest play. Inside, it features the vaunted LM3080 operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) chip and CTS pots dating exactly to 1978.
Please note: It does have a noticeable vintage noise floor when engaged, but that is a known, intrinsic characteristic of these early CA3080/LM3080 circuits. It provides that classic, squishy, percussive Nashville "click" and singing sustain that modern reissues simply cannot replicate perfectly.
Condition & Details:
- Cosmetics: Road-worn with plenty of paint wear, scuffs, and mojo. Pure vintage aesthetic.
- Functionality: Fully functional. Pots are scratch-free, the switch engages cleanly, and it squishes just like it should.
- Inclusions: Pedal only. No original box, manual, or battery included (I might leave the on in there though).
