Up for sale here is: Alpha Juno 1.  It's fully functional and in nice shape for its age, and has a new internal battery soldered in (so hopefully many years of use before it will need replacement) but see my notes below on its condition. Includes power cord.  I am considering reasonable offers.  Please see the photos for further information.  Notes:

  • there are some scuffs/marks/scratches in various places, sometimes hard to see in photos. The back-corner plastic screw holes are a little cracked from age, making the panel slightly looser than normal. This is the biggest cosmetic issue, I think.
  • the front-underneath of a key has a slight chip.
  • the chorus sounds great but is a bit "noisy," as is typical and normal of 80's synth chorus chips.
  • the LCD works and the backlight still functions. It's weak, but still "glows" in the dark. There are a few dust specks on it, most visible in daylight when it's not turned on.
  • FYI - the Alpha Juno 1 doesn't have velocity or aftertouch in its keybed, but these can be triggered via MIDI.  The AJ2 has them, but often the aftertouch dies on the AJ2.  So I personally prefer the lighter, smaller, AJ1.
  • FYI - make sure to consult the manual (PDF can be found online) when it comes to things like loading sysex. It's slightly trickier than expected because you need to select a special operation. You might want to buy some commercial soundsets that can be previewed on Youtube.

I am only shipping this within the continental US, signature required.  I'm selling this "As-is."  No returns.  Please do your research online (Youtube, etc.) and make sure this is an item you really want before purchasing or making an offer.
