Exquis MPE MIDI controller by Intuitive Instruments (Dualo, France) — 61 hexagonal, pressure- and tilt-sensitive keys on an isomorphic layout, so chords and scales keep the same shape in every key. Genuinely fun to play and a great composition tool, especially paired with MPE synths in Ableton Live (it ships with an Ableton-oriented workflow and its own companion app).

Features:

  • 61 expressive hexagonal keys (velocity, aftertouch/pressure, tilt) — full MPE
  • CV / Gate / Pitch / Mod outputs on the back — drives modular and hardware synths directly
  • 4 push encoders, capacitive touch slider, built-in looper and onboard sounds for standalone play
  • USB-C powered and class-compliant — no power supply needed (it never shipped with one; it runs off USB by design)

Condition: Used – Mint. Bought new and never used — it has sat in storage since purchase. Fully working (USB-powered; I can demo it on pickup or send a power-on photo/video). Honest note: I no longer have the original box. Sale includes the Exquis and a USB cable — that is everything it originally came with besides the box.

Serial EXQ-0123011597 (photo of the back label included).

Selling because I'm thinning out my production rig. Ships well-packed via Reverb Safe Shipping; local pickup in the San Diego / Chula Vista area also fine.
