The Deering Artisan Goodtime 17-Fret Tenor is a brand new 4-string open back tenor banjo with a rock maple neck in a dark red mahogany stain, a Midnight Maple fingerboard with vintage Artisan style inlays, and planetary tuners. It has 17 frets on a 21 inch scale, comes set up in standard tenor tuning (C G D A) and weighs about 4 lbs. Brand new and in stock. We are an authorized Deering dealer in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

The Pot
3-ply violin grade maple rim, 11 inches across, with an 11 inch frosted high crown head. Beveled steel tension hoop with 16 flat J-hooks and 9/32 inch nuts. Goodtime armrest, 5/8 inch Goodtime Smile bridge and Deering's patented Goodtime tailpiece. Nickel hardware and a hand finished satin polyurethane finish.
The Neck
Rock maple neck in a dark red mahogany stain with a satin finish. Midnight Maple fingerboard with vintage Artisan style inlays and 17 frets. Lexan polycarbonate nut at 1 1/8 inch width. Planetary tuners. 21 inch scale length. Overall length 32 inches, about 4 lbs.
