Doepfer A-198-1 Trautonium Ribbon Controller — Eurorack, Excellent Condition

For sale is a Doepfer A-198-1 Trautonium ribbon controller in excellent condition. It was mounted in a smoke-free rack and hardly used — module and ribbon both practically new.

The A-198 is a recreation of the manual/ribbon controller used in the original Mix-Trautonium, letting you play your modular expressively by hand. Pressing the ribbon generates a control voltage proportional to position, with adjustable sensitivity and response — perfect for playing oscillator pitch like a continuous keyboard, or for expressive CV control of filters, effects, and more. A genuinely unique performance interface that turns a modular into a touch instrument.

• Includes the ribbon controller assembly (A-198-1 standard ribbon)
