Up for sale is a Carr Raleigh 12” combo amplifier in excellent condition. Designed as a 5-watt, all-tube Class-A circuit, this amp is ideal for studio recording and home practice where authentic power-tube saturation is needed at manageable volumes.

Sound & Voicing

The Raleigh is famous for its "split personality," offering two distinct voicings controlled by a simple Clean/Overdrive toggle switch.

Clean Mode: Delivers glassy, spanky ’60s American Blackface-style tones. The simple Volume and Tone controls keep the signal pure, offering optimal clarity and touch sensitivity.

Overdrive Mode: Ramps up the gain and engages the Master Volume, shifting the amp into a juicy, sustaining British-voiced overdrive (reminiscent of a classic roaring Plexi or hot-rodded Brit circuit).

Details

This amp excels at capturing massive, dynamic guitar sounds without the ear-splitting output of larger gigging rigs.
