This is the MiniMASS, Weber's 50-watt speaker attenuator. It goes between the amp and the speaker, so a tube amp can run into power tube distortion while the MiniMASS sets how loud the speaker gets. Weber rates it for amps of 35 watts and under, at 4, 8 or 16 ohms, and not for a Super Reverb or a tweed Bassman.

The load inside is a real moving speaker motor, which Weber says works with the amp's output more like a speaker does. Volume runs from about 3 dB down to over 50 dB down, and the Treble switch adds back 3 or 6 dB of highs for low volumes. Bypass takes it out of the circuit. From Amp and To Speaker take speaker cables, and Line Out takes an instrument cable to a mixer or recorder, at a level set by the amp's volume. All the way down with the speaker unplugged, it works as a dummy load, as long as Bypass stays off. It's passive and needs no power.

Red. Excellent condition, shown in the photos. Comes with just the attenuator, no box.

Includes: The attenuator only, no box
