I had to buy three of these to find one with a full frequency response. They have a tendency to lose low end. So I am including a correspondence with Cole stating he’s had a lot of these in and this is the best sounding one. He did the XLR mod but everything is included if you want to return it to its original connector/cable. If you ever wondered what a top-of-the-line vintage dynamic broadcast microphone sounds like this is it. Butch Vig likes it on drums, I used it for vocals (with a pop filter).
