A WISEMAN multiple instrument case may not be for everyone. The price can be staggering, and after shipping and tariffs are added, there are the 6 months of waiting on a list. But for a busy working musician, they are the very best at transporting many instruments in the smallest and lightest possible package.

Today I present the WISEMAN Alto & Soprano Double Saxophone Case in Carbon Fibre with provision for a Concert Flute and ample accessory storage.

This particular Wiseman of London Case was custom built to transport an Alto and Soprano Saxophone, with removable necks, of the SELMER, YAMAHA, YANAGISAWA and other models of the same size, Plus a Concert Flute with a C-Foot. The owner and CEO Dominique explains it all on YouTube.

The Oval Shell Construction employs a compact, crush-resistant oval cross-section that hinges open into two equal halves available in lightweight, carbon-fiber. All 3 instruments are firmly suspended on shock-absorbing material and since they interlock when closed, nothing shifts.

This case was engineered to have a smaller overall volume than a standard alto saxophone case and because it’s the smaller of the two possible versions, the Travel-Friendly size is very appealing to frequent flyers.

The only reason that this Wiseman saxophone case is being presented for your consideration is that during the extensive wait period, I obtained Big Bell saxes and this structure cannot accommodate them. I now find myself back on another list. But my loss can be someone else’s gain.
