Condition Note

The drum is in very good vintage cosmetic condition. The natural walnut exterior finish displays rich wood grain and presents very well overall, showing honest, standard age wear consisting of light scattered dings, minor surface dents, fine scratches, and small finish imperfections from routine handling. The 6-ply wood shell is round, the original Silver Sealer interior is clean and complete with the factory tag intact, and the bearing edges are clean and undamaged with no modifications or extra drill holes.

Hardware & Functionality: All chrome hardware is factory original and structurally sound. The signature Gretsch die-cast hoops are flat and true, producing the classic focused attack, pronounced rimshots, and controlled overtones the era is celebrated for. All lug casings and tension rods thread smoothly and tune evenly. Outfitted with newer Remo heads, this drum tunes easily with warm, woody projection and deep, focused resonance.

Classic Jasper-era USA Gretsch build, structurally sound, bench-checked, outfitted with newer Remo heads, and ready to play.
