Boss DF-2 SUPER Feedbacker & Distortion Made in Japan - Vintage

One of BOSS’s more unusual vintage distortion pedals, the DF-2 combines a punchy distortion circuit with its distinctive controllable feedback effect, allowing sustained, harmonically rich notes without relying on sheer amplifier volume.

This is a Japanese-made example, with four controls for Level, Tone, Distortion and Overtone. The first three provide straightforward control over the distortion sound, while the Overtone control adjusts the character of the feedback effect, making the DF-2 capable of everything from conventional driven sounds through to much more unusual sustained lead tones.

The pedal is in Very Good condition for its age and is fully functional. There are various small chips and marks to the orange finish from previous use, along with a noticeable scratch across the black control panel. This is purely cosmetic and has no detrimental effect on the operation of the pedal. Please see the photographs for the best representation of its condition.
