Lawson Tube Microphone System - L251 & L47 MP - Gold - MINT!

Up for sale this premium, collector-grade Lawson Gold Tube Microphone System. I really don't want to sell this, but some other expenses came up that need to be covered so my loss is your gain! It is priced to sell and this item is quite rare, as most people that have them don't choose to part with them!

It is in MINT condition and very lightly used, I got it a few years ago in a studio trade from a friend and it has been in my professional smoke free studio environment ever since. It has a beautiful blue glow (I tried to show in pics) and I registered it online at Lawson for a 5 year Warranty when I got it in 2024 as shown on paperwork. It is a super versatile, world-class studio setup featuring two distinct, hand-crafted interchangeable capsule heads running through a single boutique vacuum tube electronics base. Effectively, this system gives your studio the distinct tonal characteristics of two legendary vintage microphones in one premium package. Handwired in Nashiville!

Both microphones are scratch & dent free in immaculate condition, and the case is also in excellent condition with no damage. It comes with the orginal cables that came with it, as well as the original spare vacuum tube and all original paperwork complete with 4 spare screws.

From my research, the two capsules are interchangeable and operate in either tube or FET mode. This is a unique feature that I never tried, but it looks to be an excellent experiement. I used the L47MP on vocals and the FET version of L251 sometimes on acoustic guitars. Here is some more information about this dynamic duo:
