Some drum kits spend their lives in a basement. This one spent its life making music. After nearly 30 years, it's time for my 1998 DW Collector's Series kit to find its next home. This is an original, matching shell pack built at DW's factory in Oxnard, California in April 1998. I recently contacted DW Customer Support and was able to verify the original finish, shell construction, dealer, and factory build information.

This kit has been professionally used throughout its life. It has toured extensively, recorded professionally—including sessions at Dave Matthews' Haunted Hollow Studio—and shared stages with numerous national touring acts. It has the honest cosmetic wear you'd expect from nearly three decades of making music: light scratches, minor chrome pitting, and the normal signs of a well-loved professional instrument. Structurally, the shells, bearing edges, and hardware are all in excellent condition.
