THE TOP ROW OF PADS (13-16) DO NOT WORK. This MPC needs new pad sensors which can be bought at MPCstuff, which are $75.90 before tax or shipping. Reverb doesn't allow me to post links so you will have to look them up for yourself.

The other pads (1-12) work fine. I've confirmed that it's indeed the pad sensors on the top row which have deteriorated, specifically the thin traces which connect to the pad and not the pads themselves. All original pad sensors in the MPCs deteriorate, and since the 2000XL came out in 1999, it's about time they're replaced.

Replacement pad sensors are very easy to install.

Has 32MB RAM installed (max)

Comes equipped with an internal Zulu SCSI Blaster in place of the original Zip drive. You can read more about the ZuluSCSI Blaster on SamplerZone's website, which is where I purchased the ZuluSCSI Blaster. (Again, Reverb doesn't allow me to post links, so you'll have to look it up yourself)

Overall the MPC is in very clean condition, with a few scratches here and there.
