Revive Audio Modified: PreSonus ACP88 8-Channel Compressor / Limiter / Gate!

Up For Sale is a Revive Audio Modified Presonus ACP88, eight channel compressor, limiter, gate that sounds excellent, is in good shape and comes with a full 6-month warranty.

A new official release, we have been modifying these for over a decade but due to customers sending in broken units, the mod was discontinued but is now back by popular demand.

The design uses a simply supply, Opamp I/O buffers and a That dynamics engine which is fairly unique in that it controls all processing in and out.

The design sounds good but lacks warmth, headroom, dynamic range and the noise floor leaves something to be desired in the clarity.

On this design we install High-Performance Burr Brown opamps on the I/O stages and buffer stage as well as low noise audio grade capacitors in the audio path for maximum audio warmth, punch, headroom, detail and bandwidth. We clean up the power supply rails using various bypassing techniques and value adjustments for lower noise and better clarity/

In addition, we clean all of the controls for good measure.

Finally, we clean up the supply noise floor and rebuild the power supply for a power, punch and warm dynamics processor that packs eight channels which is more than most guys need all at a price that doesn't break the bank.

Sale includes: Revive Audio Modified Presonus ACP88, Eight channel compressor-Limiter-Gate and its power cord.
