Description:

This Hosco TL-NF3B double-edge nut file set provides three precision tools specifically tailored for electric bass guitar nut slotting. Each file features two different gauge edges, allowing you to accurately cut slots for common bass string sizes ranging from .045 to .130 inches. The double-edge design is efficient for professional shop use, effectively providing six different cutting widths while reducing the total number of tools needed to maintain slot consistency. Every file in this set is crafted to provide clean, rounded slots that prevent string binding and improve tuning stability on your instrument.

With a 190mm (7.5in) total length and a 100mm (3.9in) blade length, these files offer a comfortable grip and excellent control for detailed work on both standard and aftermarket nut materials. This set is an essential addition to the workbench for luthiers and guitar technicians performing routine nut maintenance, setup adjustments, or full nut replacements on a variety of electric bass guitars. The specific gauges included in this three-piece set cover the most popular string sets used by modern bass players today.
