The JBL Professional M-Patch 2 is a discontinued, professional-grade passive stereo monitor controller designed for transparent audio performance, precise volume management, and flexible signal routing in recording and production environments.

What sets the M-Patch 2 apart is its high-quality passive signal path, which preserves audio integrity without active amplification or unnecessary coloration. Unlike active monitor controllers, its passive attenuation functions operate entirely without external power, making it equally practical for permanent studio installations and portable setups. The included power supply enables the built-in headphone amplifier and illuminated indicators.

The M-Patch 2 features independent stereo and auxiliary volume controls, selectable input sources, and two balanced XLR output pairs for switching between studio monitors or routing audio to multiple destinations. Both output pairs can operate simultaneously, providing additional flexibility for recording, mixing, and monitoring.

Additional capabilities include balanced XLR/¼-inch combo inputs, RCA and 3.5mm auxiliary connectivity, mono/stereo summing for checking phase compatibility, a dedicated mute function, and a built-in headphone amplifier with independent volume control.

Its durable metal enclosure accommodates desktop or rack-mounted configurations, offering versatile monitoring control for professional and home studios.
