You don't need a GigRig system to use this: in addition to supplying other high-current items, one could use a daisy chain cable to power multiple pedals. I was using this on a board powering 3 utility pedals and 5 drives with no noise issues. I find that digital/modualtion/time based effects are the ones that really need to be on isolated power supplies.
