This Vintage, pristine AKG C 414 B-ULS large-diaphragm condenser microphone, known as the ultimate analog studio workhorse, the B-ULS (Ultra Linear Series) is highly sought after by engineers for being the last model in the legendary C414 lineage to feature an internal output transformer. This gives it a beautifully warm, smooth top-end and a rich low-end weight that modern transformer-less microphones simply cannot replicate.
