Vocal Fix adds a dedicated Pitch Correct algorithm to the PCM 80 for tightening up pitch on recorded solo vocal tracks. It pairs an intelligent pitch shifter with the PCM 80’s Chamber reverb, and several presets let you control correction from a MIDI keyboard. The algorithm is designed for monophonic (single-note) sources.
Compatibility: Requires a PCM 80 running firmware v1.10 or higher. The card must be inserted at power-up to load the algorithm, and only one algorithm card can be loaded at a time. (PCM 81 owners don’t need it because the Vocal Fix algorithm is already built into that unit.)
