Finished in Candy Apple Red, this '64 Jaguar is a striking example of Fender’s offset design, combining distinctive styling with the versatility and character that have made these instruments enduring classics. Weighing a touch over 8lbs, it features an alder body, a maple neck with a rosewood-capped fingerboard, and a comfortable '60s C profile. The original pickups, electronics, and wiring remain intact, preserving the character of this vintage Fender.
Cosmetically, this Jaguar is in excellent condition, with below-average wear and finish checking for its age. There is some blemishing on the back along with a ding on the treble side near the control plate, but overall this Jag is quite clean and the CAR finish remains vibrant.
Structurally, this guitar is equally impressive, with no cracks or known repair history. The original frets, Kluson Deluxe single-line tuners, hardware, and controls remain in place, and the guitar is accompanied by its original hardshell case, tremolo arm, bridge cover, instrument cable, and leather strap.
