The Gibson Custom Les Paul Axcess Standard Floyd Rose in Tri Berry Burst combines the familiar Les Paul design with modern performance features and a distinctive custom finish. Part of Gibson Custom's limited-run Greatest Hits 2 collection, this instrument features a hand-selected AAA figured maple top, weight-relieved mahogany body, and sculpted Axcess contours. Its Tri Berry Burst gloss finish is complemented by a Purple Toner finish across the back, sides, and neck, with gold hardware completing the custom appearance.

The mahogany body features Gibson's nine-hole weight relief and a carved two-piece AAA figured maple top. Cream body binding outlines the figured top, while the sculpted body scarf and contoured neck heel provide improved comfort and upper-fret access. The Tri Berry Burst finish highlights the maple figuring, and the absence of a pickguard leaves the top fully visible.

The mahogany neck features Gibson's Les Paul Axcess Custom Apex Floyd Rose profile, measuring approximately .835" at the first fret and .985" at the twelfth. Its contoured heel and reinforced Apex headstock are designed to improve upper-fret accessibility and structural stability. The bound rosewood fingerboard features aged celluloid trapezoid inlays and Jescar medium-jumbo fretwire. A 24.75" scale length, Floyd Rose R3 locking nut, and modern Teflon-wrapped truss rod complete the neck construction.

The electronics feature a Gibson 496R humbucker in the neck position and a 498T humbucker in the bridge, both with four-conductor wiring. Push-pull tone controls provide series/parallel switching for additional pickup voicings, while the traditional dual-volume layout and three-way selector maintain familiar Les Paul operation. A gold Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo provides expressive pitch control, complemented by Grover tuners with gold kidney-shaped buttons.
