Beautiful 2023 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Silverburst that looks incredible, plays fantastic, and sounds exactly like a great Les Paul Custom should.

This is an opportunity to own a genuine Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom for substantially less than an unrepaired example. If you’re looking for an awesome guitar to actually play, enjoy, gig, record with, and keep for years—not a museum piece—this is a tremendous value.

The guitar had a professionally repaired headstock approximately one year ago. The repair is solid and has remained completely stable, with excellent tuning stability and absolutely no issues since the work was completed. The guitar has also had a professional setup and plays beautifully.

I want to be completely transparent about the repair. Under bright, direct lighting and when viewed closely, it can be seen. In normal indoor lighting or softer indirect light, however, it is much less noticeable and can be very difficult to see. I’ve intentionally included close-up photos under lighting that makes the repair visible so the buyer can see exactly what they’re getting.

The frets show virtually no wear, and this guitar feels and plays the way you’d expect a Les Paul Custom to. Great sustain, great resonance, killer tone, and a seriously fun guitar to play.

There is also a DIY cosmetic finish touch-up on the lower portion of the back of the neck, which I did to cover a scuff in the finish. This is cosmetic only and is completely unrelated to the structural headstock repair. It does not affect the stability, feel, tuning, or playability of the guitar.

There are also a few small cosmetic imperfections near the binding on the lower portion of the headstock, which are shown clearly in the photos.

Included are the original Gibson hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, original case candy, and original pickguard.

The price has already been adjusted to reflect the repaired headstock and cosmetic touch-up. You’re not paying collector-condition Les Paul Custom money—you’re getting a legitimate Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom that is structurally sound, professionally set up, stable, and ready to be played.

The current installed pickups are EMG 81 in the Bridge and EMG 57 in the neck, which sounds amazing, but I can swap the 57 with an 85 if you’d prefer that classic combination. Or, I can put the 57 in the bridge and a 66 in the neck for a more touch-sensitive and dynamic experience. These are quick connect, so it’s no problem at all.
