Crown RP3 PREs w/Power Supply-Restored!

Pair of Crown RP3 preamps with power supply. These were fully restored by Chuck Ziska a couple of years ago. He also custom built the power supply. I’ve attached the receipts from Chuck. Make sure that you have both preamps plugged into the power supply when using it, don’t just use one at a time. My guess is that if you are looking at this listing, you know about Crown. Crown tube equipment was well made and is highly sought after today. These preamps have been used very little since they were restored. They would make excellent mic preamps. They could also be used as home hifi or studio preamps or on a Crown tape transport. Note that on one of the units, the wafer switch only works on record and playback, not for biasing. The only time that would be an issue is if you use this as a preamp for a matching crown transport. If you use it for a mic or hi-fi preamp, it has absolutely no effect because you don’t use the biasing switch. $50 flat shipping in lower 48.
