Bartolini X4S Early-Mid 1990s - Matte

Hi Folks,

Up for sale is a working set of vintage early-mid 90s Bartolini X4S single coil candy bar pickups from a Zon bass. Please research the dimensions from Bartolini or Zon (Although the one picture has a ruler for reference). The bottom plates have a suffix etched with N or S, meaning north or south (or neck and bridge) for the sake of polarity.

I switched these for dual coil pickups as a matter of personal taste. I prefer the mellow response from dual coils, and the lower potential of capturing 60 cycle hum. These single coil Barts are definitely hotter and have that signature feel on your thumb and fingers. Smooth and accurate response for passive pickup.

There is slight wear, but no damage. I’ve cleaned all surfaces with isopropyl alcohol.
Great option for a project bass or a replacement drop-in for your Zon.

Thanks for looking and happy shopping.
