Telecaster 60 Relic Body - 3-Tone Sunburst, Heavy Checking, Nitro

VL Guitars — Telecaster Relic Body · 3-Tone Sunburst Nitro Finish · Alder · Tele Body · Body Only

This is a VL Guitars guitar body, crafted from alder, carefully chosen for its tonal balance, lightweight feel, and excellent acoustic response.

The body is cut to true vintage ‘60 specifications, with correct contours, thicknesses, and routing to ensure authentic resonance and feel.

All of our bodies are precision-machined to tight tolerances, ensuring that all genuine Fender® parts fit perfectly, including necks, bridges, pickguards, and hardware—no modifications required. This makes our bodies ideal for high-end custom builds as well as vintage-correct restorations.

The finish is applied entirely in 100% nitrocellulose lacquer, sprayed in thin coats and then hand-aged (relic) to accurately recreate the look, feel, and character of a well-played vintage instrument.

The 3-tone sunburst finish features natural-looking checking across the whole surface, heavy wear on the edges and contours with the bare wood showing through, and realistic buckle rash.

Delivered with the string ferrules already installed, ready to build.

This body is an excellent foundation for high-end builds, vintage-correct restorations, or custom projects where authenticity in both tone and appearance is essential.

At VL Guitars, we specialize in vintage and relic guitars, combining traditional lutherie techniques with meticulous attention to detail.

• Body Only – hardware, electronics, and pickguard are not included (hardware shown in photos is not included)
