The Roland RD-1000 is a true collectible stage piano, an essential benchmark for musicians and music productions throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Thanks to its legendary SA (Structured Adaptive) synthesis engine, this instrument redefined piano performance on stage, shaping the sonic identity of iconic tracks by world-renowned artists such as Elton John and Lucio Dalla.

At the core of the keyboard lies its ability to generate timbres with exceptional dynamic presence, offering 16 core presets ranging from acoustic and electric pianos to synth basses. The front-panel controls allow for real-time tweaking of synthesis parameters via filters, modulators, and envelopes, customizing every subtle detail of your sound.

The 88 weighted keys deliver an authentic, professional response, making it ideal for nuanced performances live or in the studio. Advanced features like layering, keyboard splitting, and customizable velocity sensitivity curves enable seamless management of complex arrangements, supported by a clear, straightforward LCD display.

Engineered to withstand the demanding routines of touring, the chassis boasts a robust, heavy-duty build. The professional I/O section includes balanced XLR outputs, designed to deliver a clean, powerful, and noise-free audio signal even over long cable runs on large stages.
