Wonderful example of a Kamaka HF-1 with some flame koa on the front and a beautiful, bell-like chime. This if probably the second best soprano I’ve owned, only behind an aNueNue US3K. Huge difference in price though for the aNueNue. Explosive tone, plays very well and has great intonation. Friction tuners. There is a dark spot in the wood that I tried to show as much as possible. It’s on the back and a few inches below the neck. It’s never bothered me but I wanted to show it up close. Comes with an off-brand hard shell case that’s in good working order. Thanks for your time.
