It is Spitfire's first dry scoring stage ensemble, inspired by Bernard Herrmann, the composer of Citizen Kane, Psycho, Vertigo and Taxi Driver, and made working exclusively with Herrmann's estate.

The studio orchestra ensembles were curated directly from Herrmann's orchestration aesthetic and recorded in Studio One at AIR Studios by engineer Simon Rhodes, with the players performing as Herrmann would have chosen: boisterous, lively and upfront.

Patches feature selected groups, unusual instrumental combinations, chords and effects, for lively and distinctive scoring. It runs in the free Kontakt Player.
