This DR-660 was recapped to ensure proper operation. Several capacitors requiring replacement have been replaced. It is now fully functional.

The internal CR2032 battery has also been replaced with a new one.

Drum machines from this era, such as the DR-550 and 660, often suffer from a loss of sound or reduced volume due to internal capacitor failure. This issue can be resolved by replacing the capacitors ("recapping"). Furthermore, recapping yields a remarkably clear sound, revealing the true sonic character these units were designed to produce.

The surface-mount capacitors on the digital board of this 660 were also leaking, so I replaced them. (The replacements installed are not surface-mount types.)

However, on this 660, the text color fades in the center of the LCD. This is something we cannot fix. It should still be somewhat readable if viewed in a well-lit area.

No accessories are included. The power supply is not included.

The required power supply is an adapter that outputs 12V AC (not DC). You will need to find one elsewhere that is compatible with the voltage in your country.
