Crystal-clear tone, soft feel, and long sustain, in real 24-carat gold.
Optima Unique Studio Bass strings are handmade in Germany and wound with 24K gold. The crystal-clear tone, soft feel, and warm, concise overtones with long-lasting sustain, especially in the upper registers, make this set truly unique. A great choice for your bass tone, whether live or in the studio.
The gold is insensitive to tarnish and corrosion, so a set lasts up to three times longer than normal strings, according to Optima. It is also a suitable choice for players with a nickel allergy.
