Electronic Drum Kit With Mesh Pads for Quiet and Dynamic Play

The mesh drum pads on this Simmons electronic drum kit deliver a highly responsive and realistic feel. Each pad features dual-layer mesh heads that can be tension-adjusted to match your playing style, ensuring maximum comfort and control. The snare includes a rimshot sensor for additional expressive capabilities, while the toms are dual-zone, letting you trigger alternate voices with precision. These features allow the pads to capture every subtle stroke and dynamic nuance, from gentle rolls to hard hits.

The SD1250 drum module houses Simmons' critically acclaimed sound library with 750 high-definition samples, recorded in professional studios. This collection includes acoustic drum sounds, vintage electronic kits, and world percussion, offering a wide range of tonal options for creative exploration. The module features 50 preset kits and 25 user kits, giving you the flexibility to customize your setup for rock, jazz, electronic, and other genres. Additional tools like EQ, reverb, and a metronome enhance your practice and recording sessions.

With its compact design, this electronic drum set fits easily into home studios and small practice spaces. The snare comes with its own stand, allowing you to adjust its angle for optimal playability. A lightweight frame ensures that the kit remains portable, making it suitable for onstage use or rehearsal setups. The included Simmons Advanced App for iOS lets you recall and edit kits, practice with recorded tracks, or import custom samples directly into the module, adding further versatility.

The cymbals on the SD1250 are designed to deliver realistic feel and sound. Classic stereo recordings ensure long, natural decay, while the pads respond quickly to both edge and bow strikes. This attention to detail helps create a playing experience that closely mimics the feel of acoustic cymbals, making the kit a solid option for drummers transitioning from traditional setups to electronic ones.
