The PS-620 uses a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter I believe it's made by Vifa. The 5 1/4" driver has cast aluminum basket which surprised me. These are super sleepers that sound very elegant is the word I want to use They image like crazy and have a very wide soundstage. They are only down . The bass on these will surprise you for their size in part due to the bass radiator on the back. Usually when you see these for sale which isn't often the bass radiator is missing or damaged. ESS's original literature describes the 620 as a compact audiophile bookshelf speaker. I would agree with that statement. Very good mini monitors. They will crank too and stay composed. They easily filled my 14x20 garage.
