The Chordcat is designed for quickly building chord progressions, beats and complete musical ideas in a compact standalone format. Its Chord Cruiser system can generate and suggest a very large range of chord combinations based on the selected key and scale, making it particularly useful for songwriting, beatmaking and experimenting with harmony. Alpha Theta

It provides 8 tracks, up to 16 patterns per track and sequencing up to 128 steps / 8 bars. MIDI IN and MIDI OUT/THRU allow it to control or sequence external synthesizers and other hardware, while USB-C provides computer connectivity and power. It can also run from six AA batteries for portable use. Alpha Theta

Compact and lightweight at approximately 9.7" wide and under 1 lb, it is easy to use as a portable sketchpad or integrate into a larger hardware setup. AlphaTheta also provides Chordcat Manager software for moving sequence patterns between the unit and a computer. Alpha Theta

This example comes in its original box with the original molded protective packaging and USD cable. The unit itself is as new, as shown in the photos.

A very capable little groovebox for producers who want fast sequencing and chord-generation tools without having to work entirely inside a DAW.
