Ok. First, the unit works great.

I have only used inputs 1-4 on the back so I can’t vouch for the phono ins on the back or the instrument ins on the front. Have a good look at the picture of the main outs and you will that the L out has a broken housing ring. Despite that the L out works great. The cable locks in and the sound quality is perfect. I reached out to mpscstuff.com about fixing it but they quoted me around $300 to do it and said if it works fine, don’t bother. Obviously seeing this issue might make you nervous and I don’t blame you, so the unit is priced and rated accordingly. If that L out was whole, the unit would be rated at very good and would cost $200 more.

This is a classic piece. Having 16 Q-links makes it a different experience than the smaller units. It has wifi for updates and will import your Splice library if you have one. It has the latest firmware. When you buy, I will release the registration so you can register it to your own account and download the software bundled by Akai.
