The D-Fi XLR Pack
The D-Fi XLR Pack from Chauvet DJ brings the freedom of wireless DMX control to lighting fixtures that were never designed for it. At the heart of this system is D-Fi XLR technology — compact, battery-powered wireless units that plug directly into the XLR port of any DMX-compatible light. Once connected, these units instantly transform a standard wired fixture into a wireless one, eliminating the need to run DMX cable across a stage, venue, or event space. It's a simple, elegant solution for lighting professionals who want the flexibility of wireless control without replacing their existing DMX-compatible gear.

Wireless Communication Made Simple
At its core, the D-Fi XLR Pack is built around instant wireless communication between a transmitter and multiple receivers. The pack includes one transmitter and three receivers, giving users the ability to control several fixtures wirelessly from a single DMX source. Each D-Fi XLR unit plugs straight into a light's XLR port, so there's no complicated wiring or setup involved — just plug it in and the fixture is ready to receive wireless DMX signals. This design makes the system especially useful for lighting rigs where running cable is impractical, time-consuming, or simply undesirable, such as temporary installations, touring setups, or venues with unconventional layouts.
Effortless, Cable-Free Charging
One of the standout features of the D-Fi XLR Pack is how it handles charging. Rather than relying on cables to power each individual unit, the units charge through contact pins, meaning transmitters and receivers can be placed directly onto the multi-charger without ever needing to plug in a charging cable. The included multi-charger is designed to simultaneously charge up to eight D-Fi XLR units at once, making it easy to keep an entire fleet of transmitters and receivers powered up and ready between shows or events. Additional D-Fi XLR units beyond the pack's included four can also be charged on the same multi-charger, though those extra units are sold separately.
Added Convenience with USB Charging
Beyond charging D-Fi XLR units themselves, the multi-charger included in this pack goes a step further by offering two additional USB ports. This means users can simultaneously charge other devices — like a phone, tablet, or other USB-powered equipment — right alongside their D-Fi XLR units, all from the same charging station. It's a thoughtful, practical addition that reduces the number of separate chargers needed on-site, helping keep gear bags and production areas more organized and efficient.
Altogether, the D-Fi XLR Pack offers a complete, ready-to-use wireless DMX solution: the transmitter and receivers needed to go wireless, plus a charging system smart enough to keep everything powered without a tangle of cables. It's a practical upgrade for anyone looking to modernize their lighting setup with minimal hassle.
Why We Love This
Our gear experts love gear that just works without added complexity, and the D-Fi XLR Pack delivers exactly that. By eliminating DMX cable runs, it frees up stage space and setup time, letting performers focus on the show instead of wiring. The cable-free charging system means less clutter backstage, while the multi-charger's extra USB ports keep phones and devices powered too. For touring musicians, it's a simple, reliable way to add wireless lighting flexibility to any gig.Descriptive copy.
